Ransom Canyon City Council

The City Council for the Town of Ransom Canyon met December 5, 2006 at the Ransom Canyon City Hall for a Special Meeting Called by Mayor Robert Englund.

• The discussion was closed to the public, because items on the agenda were Executive Session material, as is covered by the Texas Government Code, Executive Session to Discuss Legal Matters Per Open Meetings Law Section 551.071, and Executive Session will be held pursuant to Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071, 551.0725, to discuss the following:

• Section 551.071: Consultation with attorney regarding pending or contemplated litigation or about settlement offers.
• Section 551.0725: Deliberations regarding negotiated contract.
• Section 551.072: Deliberations regarding real property.
• Section 551074 : Personnel Matters

Mayor Robert Englund called the meeting to order. Mayor Pro-Tem Ron Cox was present. The other Aldermen who were present were Kevin Carlson, Donna Clarke, and James Overby. Jack Randorff was absent due to a business conflict, as previously arranged.

The meeting was called to order in open meeting, and was immediately convened to Executive Session. No action was taken during the Executive Session.

The meeting reconvened into open meeting, and no action was taken relevant to the discussions that took place in Executive Session.

The meeting adjourned by unanimous agreement.
